A Granted Wish.
Pacific NorthWest being itself is reputed for long sequences of days with soggy weather. Venturing there you accept such conditions as an envelope of your adventure, after all a big part of it is a temperate rain forrest. After spending a week we exited to the wild beach strewn with washed up three trunks. The beach was rustic natural and mostly devoid of humans. I thought it would be remarkable if one day we could see a sunset. It was a sensation of harmonious completion - with bare feet in the sand, without a raincoat we stood illuminated. Our wish was granted.
